The South African Journal of Industrial Psychology (SAJIP) is a premier southern African journal that focuses on innovative research and scholarship from both local and international sources within the fields of Industrial and Organisational Psychology. The journal publishes original research material that impacts on, and contributes to, a deeper understanding of the inter-relationship between individuals and organisations, as well as insightful reviews of the leading theoretical and critical literature in these fields.
Languages: English and Afrikaans
SAJIP accepts manuscripts in the following intended categories:
Original articles: Original research articles should inform readers of innovative research in a particular field within or related to the focus and scope of the journal, presented according to a clear and well-structured format. Research published in this section should add to the existing body of knowledge published in this field. (between 3500–7000 wordswith a maximum of 60 references).
Publication frequency: SAJIP publishes at least one issue per year, but individual articles will be published as soon as they are ready by adding them to the table of contents of the 'current' volume and issue. In this way, SAJIP aims to speed up the process of manuscript publication, from submission to becoming available on the website. It might be that other special issues are added on an ad hoc basis to the journal throughout a particular year, which will form part of consecutive issues thereafter.
We encourage authors who are uncertain whether their manuscript is appropriate for SAJIP to send a title and abstract to the Editor-in-Chief (editor@sajip.co.za) for preliminary evaluation.
